First thing you should consider before buying a kitchen faucet is how you are planning to use it. Will it be used to prepare meals, fill your pots, wash dishes and/or entertain your guests? Next step would be to know how many faucets holes your current or future sink or counter have and if it is possible to and if you are willing to have more holes drilled. Some kitchen sinks have pre-marked knock-out hole position for easy customization.
