The NIBCO® wafer type butterfly valve is provided with undercut discs for actuation purposes only. The valve is specifically designed for low pressure (100 PSI bubble-tight) on/off or modulating applications used in conjunction with pneumatic or electric actuators.

The NIBCO® ductile iron butterfly valve features a unique molded-in EPDM seat with stainless steel disc recommended for chemical applications the liner compatibility will permit. The internal stem/disc geometric drive design eliminates the need for pins or bolts that may create leak paths or turbulence in the waterway. An extended neck allows for insulation up to 2 inches.
