The Quarter Ball ball valve frostproof sillcock replaces the compression washers and ceramic discs used in traditional frostproof sillcocks with a solid brass cartridge and a chrome plated solid brass ball. Custom valve seats are factory tested to over 290,000 on/off cycles with no leaks. The 10 in. body places the shut-off inside the heated portion of the structure, and dual backflow protection is built in: a spring-loaded check valve at the inlet and an atmospheric vacuum breaker at the outlet.
