The Quarter Ball universal gas log lighter valve uses ball valve operation with no compression washer, and is the only universal log lighter valve certified to CSA 9.1b-2013 and ANSI Z21.15b. Three 1/2 in. FPT connections let a single valve serve a straight, angle or multiple configuration, with a supplied 1/2 in. brass plug to close off whichever connections are not used. The forged brass body carries a chrome plated solid brass ball on PTFE seats and is rated 132,000 BTU/hr at 1/2 psi. Supplied complete with operating key, mounting nut and a brushed nickel escutcheon with 3/4 in. NPS threads. Suitable for natural gas or LP gas; LP installations require the QB-LPADPT adapter, sold separately, because of the higher supply pressure.
